What is the Online Mic Test?

The Online Mic Test is a quick, browser-based tool that checks whether your microphone is working correctly. It shows a live audio level meter that responds to your voice in real time, and it lets you record a short clip and play it back so you can hear exactly how your microphone sounds.

No software installation needed. Everything runs in your browser using the WebRTC and Web Audio APIs — standard technologies built into every modern browser.

How to Test Your Microphone
